I completed a Bachelors from Auburn University in Economics in 2007. I also completed a Masters from MidAmerica Nazarene University in TESOL Summer 2019. I have also done a number of education workshops such as a 120-hour TESOL Certificate, a SLAT Workshop, and a Gamification Workshop.
Experience
I started tutoring in 2005 at my University with international students. I then moved to Thailand where I lived for about 2 years and taught English. I returned home to learn about teaching and continued tutoring. In 2012 I went to China and taught at a University there for 4 years. I have tutored math, test prep, ESL, and Chinese since then. I love watching students increase in confidence and ability through tutoring. It is the reason I do this rather than anything else.
