I have been a middle school and junior high science teacher teaching life science, physical science, and earth science, I have taught high school Biology, Advanced Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Earth Science in Mississippi, New York, and Florida. I have been a college professor and head of the science department. I have taught Honors Biology, Nutrition, Biology, Health Science and Anatomy and Physiology I and II and Zoology at the college level in Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and New York. I was chosen by the dean of students to represent our college at the National Convention in Houston, TX and was recepient of the NISOD award for teaching excellence at the Community College level. I have received Who's Who Among America's Teachers five times, chosen instructor of the year by the students and alumni of the college in Mississippi. I have 106 graduate hours with a 3.72 GPA. I have all pre-med classes, advanced botany, all zoology classes offered at graduate level, marine biology, life science classes, I would be glad to have my college transcripts for you to see. I am proud of my work as a teacher, instructor, and professor. I am able to break down materials for the slowest learner to grasp the concept, then bring it up to the level they will need to know to pass at the level they are being taught. I have taught for 30 years, and been a regular substitute for the Escambia county school district since last year. Not related to biology, but I hold three Hall of Fame rings for playing professional basketball. I was inducted into WBOF in 2011, Naismith Hall of Fame in 2012, and Missouri Sport Hall of Fame in 2017.

Hobbies
I love animals, especially dogs and horses. I love to paint and draw. I have painted in the mediums of water color, acrylics, and oils. Do not like pastels because it makes my skin crawl (although snakes do not)! I love to see a student achieve. It does not matter what level they are in. They can learn and be successful. They just need the right guidance and if it is in the biology area I believe with all my heart that I can be a plus for your child.
