Each student has specific learning needs and has a favorite style or method of learning. I want students to embrace their learning style and use that style to excel on tests and in the classroom. Since each student learns differently, I want to tailor their tutoring experience to take advantage of their strength and weaknesses and improve their overall performance. My Bachelor of Arts degree is in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama. After graduation, I attended the University of West Florida and obtained my Master of Art degree in Leadership and Strategic Communication. I tutor in the areas of Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Anatomy, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, History, Economics, Microeconomics, Study Skills/Organization, Finite Mathematics, Geography, Public Speaking, Latin 1, Science, English, Social Studies, Business, Social Sciences, and Technology/Computer Science. I also do test preparation for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, IB, and GRE. If a student gets engaged in the learning process, gets excited about mastering new material, and develops good learning skills, they can gain the abilities they need to succeed.
